1. macOS Catalina Not Installing
One of the most commonly reported issues in macOS Catalina is that after the installer is unpacked, macOS Catalina gets stuck on initial reboot. This is mostly signified by blank screen.
The ways to fix this issue are many but one of the best ways is to install Catalina in Safe Mode. Here’s how to install Catalina in safe Mode –
- Shut down Mac by pressing and holding the power button
- While the system is booting up hold shift key
You’ll know that you are in the Safe Mode when you see the Apple logo flashing in grayish background. While in the Safe Mode run Catalina installer once again.
If the above fix doesn’t work you can try freeing up space on your Drive or reset the PRAM and SMC on your Mac. Here again the best option is to use Smart Mac care.
